Guest guest
start her on natural anti fungal: caprylic acid and get her out of moldy environment. From: Tom Lange <tomlange1@...> Subject: [] Mold tests for people? Date: Thursday, February 25, 2010, 12:56 AM Â Hi,I've been following this group for a while, along with others, trying to absorb as much as possible. Â Right now I'm wondering if there are suggestions for tests that can be done for a person exposed to mold. Â Traditional Western doctors have been a joke for the last year and a half in this situation and just making things worse. Â My friend is looking for thorough testing that can be done and we're thinking it would be great if there was testing that could be done at her local clinic as opposed to having to travel across the country. Â She's in Bend, Oregon. Â There's a lot more to this story but this is our immediate concern. Â Her health is rather critical right now and we're trying to figure out what initial steps we can be taking to bring her back to health. Â Thank you for any suggestions, Tom
Guest guest
If you are interested in Shoemaker's work, then the two easiest standard type labs are MMP9 (matrix metalloproteinase -9) and MSH (melanocyte stimulating hormone). THey can both be done at Labcorp - and out of pocket it is about $200 for both. It helps to know your HLA-DR-DBQ (the genetic component), but you don't have to even have that really. You can go to www.biotoxin.org (I think?), and see the Shoemaker lab sheet, but if you KNOW you have had exposure, you don't really have to do all those labs. Yeah, it is great info. to have, but sometimes too much information like that can be overwhelming. Just work on the bits you can, especially reducing exposure! If you want to get CSM from your doc, just tell them you have terrible diarrhea, and you've heard that CSM can help firm up stool!
