Lesley Wallace has filed a writ in the Supreme Court seeking damages from the State of . Mr Wallace says he leased the Wodonga property. According to his statement of claim, from 2000-2010 the property was in a state of disrepair, with constant water penetration, leaking from the roof and excessive build-up of mould. He claims the department failed to heed his complaints or make repairs to the property. As a result, he suffered a chronic fungal infection known as Aspergillus infection, respiratory disease, a lung infection, breathlessness, insomnia, anxiety and depression, according to the court documents.
