Guest guest
mold allergies cause a added inflammatory responce. they can affect every part of the body just like toxins can. sinuses, lungs, systemic involvement, ect. they can cause auto immunity (self attacking self) but with auto immunity, self attacking self, you might want to consider molecular mimicry because it might not be just self attacking self when it comes to mold exposure. with the danger signal theory and macrophages gone to the dark side and the damage that accures with WDB exposures, even a allergy can or anything the immune system reconizes as danger can lead to a immune reaction that now is the dark side of immune responces, in other words, more inflammation, more tissue damage. just like with MCS where tiny amounts of chemicals can cause a hudge reaction, so can allergens when you've become reactive to them. avoidance is very important for both. the danger signal also reconizes internal toxicities caused by autoimmunity which can be caused by chronic exposure to allergenic molds, and chronic and/or high dose exposure to allergenic molds can cause allergy even if your not atopic. you can have contanious hypersensitivies to mold that may or may not be IgE mediated. you can have both allergic and non-allergic hypersensitivities.
