Guest guest
Dona, The fenugreek hulls are pretty stubborn. However, they are edible and don't have a bad taste. Plus, they are a good source of bulk in your diet. I give mine a quick swish in a bowl of water and then dry and put in fridge. The water goes in my garden.Try not to waste anything. ew Fenugreek Help Melody, or others that have grown a lot of fenugreek - how do you get the hulls off? I've been growing a mix with both broccoli and fenugreek and the broccoli hulls are off and I wanted to harvest, then I noticed many of the fenugreek hulls are still hanging on. Should I have kept growing until they were also off, or what? Dona
Guest guest
I hear you when it comes to Fenugreek hulls. I used to drive myself crazy doing the swish swish swish and getting the hulls off. Don't do that anymore. I just do the rinsing and draining, and when I get to the last rinse and drain, I dump them in my salad spinner and get them as dry as I can. Then I put them on paper towels and blot them. By the time they are put away in my ziplock bags, the hulls become a part of my sprouts. It's when they are wet that I can't stand them. When they are dry they are just another part of my sprout. lol, Melody > > Dona, > The fenugreek hulls are pretty stubborn. However, they are edible and don't have a bad taste.
