the sure to grow mats and the trays came in today.  I need to clean up the

sunroom so it is clean an then figure out how to do the mats.  You sproutthe

broccoli, don't you, and don't grow them on sure to sprout. So I need to try to

wash the sunnies and put them out to grow on the sure to grow sprout matting.  I

think I'll put the others in a Food Saver Jar and pull out the air and hopefully

it won't get the bugs in them.   I don't think my peas are in yet.  Should I do

any broccoli or radish sprouts n the sure to sprout mats?

Carolyn:

When you use the Sure To Grow mats, you are growing the seeds as a microgreen. I

don't do the broccoli radish fenugreek or any other brassica that way. I do

them in my round green trays as sprouts.

I do the Sunnies (remember to soak for 8 to 12 hours FIRST), then spread them on

the mat, water it, let the water drain through (I put a lid over them, add

weights, and put them in the dark for 3 days so they take root), then I uncover

them, place them on my shelves and in no time, they are shooting UP!!!
