Guest guest
Gait issues as one with MS might have. My muscles seem not to get signals to move properly.. hobbling but not due to pain.. feeling like a puppet on a string and could fall from inability to support myself standing and walking. I do have OI in the form of POTs as well which is more of an issue of having tachy upon standing when blood pressue falls which can result in fainting if BP falls and pulse does not compensate. If so, am wondering if your barrage of daily supplements includes some form of electrolyte replacement. Cheney has a lot to say about this with PWC's, particularly those with CFS/CFIDS. But with all the proactive footwork you have obviously done and continue to do, my guess is that you probably already knew that. > > Kathy >
Guest guest
I have a family of three with similar issues. The woman (age 41) is almost wheel chair bound while the daughter and fiancé are showing similar signs of muscle wasting. All three have lost muscle mass. We are having mitochondrial studies done. In addition, we are awaiting pathology and other reports from Stanford University metabolic and neuromuscular clinics. The physicians at Stanford are pushing has hard as they can in attempt to get to the basics of the cause of muscle wasting. When and if we obtain the results I will inform the group. All three are positive for urine mycotoxins: trichothecenes and ochratoxins. Jack Dwayne Thrasher, Ph.D. Toxicologist/Immunotoxicologist/Fetaltoxicologist www.drthrasher.org toxicologist1@...
