Guest guest
Sharon, your comment on CF caught my eye. I am currently reading several books by Dr. Wallach, BS, DVM, ND and his wife Dr. Ma Lan, MD, LAcc. Together they have performed over 20,000 autopsies on humans from all parts of the globe and over 400 species of exotic animals. Dr. Wallach was the first to induce CF in ADULT primates. They link CF and the associated pancreatitis type issues to a selenium deficiency. In fact, he clearly states an adult primate can be induced into CF simply by causing them to have a selenium deficiency. He also links a selenium deficiency to Myocardial Infarction (MI or heart attack). It seems the few people I have known to have CF ended up dieing of an MI. Just something for you to look further into... another possible piece to your puzzle, if you will. The books I'm currently reading including Immortality and Dead Doctors Don't Lie. I also have a copy of the tome Diseases of Exotic Animals: Medical and Surgical Management. It's the go to reference for the big zoos and aquariums around the world. Very insightful read - once you translate the chronic human disease process into the animal equivalent, it's a very interesting reference!
