Dear Parents, We would greatly appreciate your participation in the national FEND-Folate Study sponsored by town University Medical Center (IRB # 2009-162) and the Interactive AutismNetwork (Project # SR0039). "FEND" stands for fetal exposure to neuroactivedrugs. Many families who are affected by autism spectrum and other pervasivedevelopmental disorders are not included in medical studies and birth registriesthat track longer term childhood outcomes of prenatal exposure to neuroactivemedications and folate.
