Guest guest
Read his new book before you jump to any conclusions! Also you may want to check out the author, Gots, who has NEVER treated, to my knowledge, one mold patient! Procrit does work and the patient is always monitored. CSM also works very well for most people. I was extremely sick years ago and within 2 weeks of taking CSM many of my symptoms were subsiding. First was the brain fog, headaches, muscles twitches, itchy crawly skin and slowly the joint pain left. I have GREAT faith in Dr. Shoemaker. I couldn't find one Dr. in my area that would even listen to me. After endless testing & feeling like I was dying, I was told IT MUST BE ANXIETY OR SOME KIND OF VIRUS THAT WILL EVENTUALLY GO AWAY!! Guest guest
Ron Gots of ICTM is a prolific expert defense witness in mold litigation. He comes to this issue from Big Tobacco, like Bruce Kelman and a few others of the defensors in this issue. _http://legacy.library.ucsf.edu/_ (http://legacy.library.ucsf.edu/) If you search this library, you will find Gots' name in there something like 100 times, I think it was. Before the ACOEM mold statement came out, they had a little meeting over this issue in DC. The gang was all there. Used to be on the Atlantic Legal Foundation website. Can't find it now. Have it in a file somewhere. In a message dated 3/24/2011 5:32:01 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, tigerpaw2c@... writes: This has been around for years. Guest guest
TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! Not one local Dr. I went to could tell me what was wrong. I was so terribly sick I honestly thought I was going to die. It was the worst experience of my life but thanks to Dr. Shoemaker I was able to return to a somewhat normal life. I'll never be 100% but I'm 100% better than I was. Sue R. I also benefited greatly by Dr. Shoemaker's treatment plan of CMS from my mold exposure which made me very ill. I was not able to find a doctor to accurately diagnosed me or give me any treatment plan to get me well. And the tests he performed were very informative of the condition of my health. He is an excellent doctor and never stops to find the answers we need to get our health back.

Guest guest
That is written by Gots, whom long timers are very familiar with. A paid mouthpiece, I doubt that he has ever seen a patient. He is also paid by Chem copanies to trash wonderful Drs like Kaye Kilburn, who have spent their lives tying to show the dangers of chemicals. --- In , " fontanafool " <productionking04@...> wrote: > > I found this by accident: > > http://www.ictm.com/Blog/post/Dr-Shoemaker-Now-prescribing-a-dangerous-medicatio\ n.aspx > > > A further look and you will see what angle they are coming from and why their comments are closed. >
Guest guest
As far as I know Gots has never treated a mold patient and giving him the title of a paid mouthpiece is putting it was too nicely. I have a better word for him that is not flattering!!! That is written by Gots, whom long timers are very familiar with. A paid mouthpiece, I doubt that he has ever seen a patient. I have a > better word for him that is not flattering!!! > And my point woud be that when someone looks up stuff on the net, mold, chemicals, mcs, cfs, etc that what unfortunately comes up is quackwatch or this crap. We know it is lies and why it is written. But when a friend looks up mcs or mold injuries and finds this they conclude the same thing " somatization, malingerinig, etc " and it is there for attorneys and doctors to cite. It is almost exactly what my doctor, Dr. Seltzer from UC Irvine said in the report to my md. SO he has lots of back-up for his lies and it is then my work and effort to get my doctor to see the truth. And yes, she is what I would deem worth saving. Dr. Rashidi in Upland will do what she can but knows nothing about my condition although she now has a bigger file on me than anyone else she has ever seen. So maybe I should not look at this anymore? Save my sanity. Meredith
