HELP SAVE OUR CENTER!

This email is to update our Live Learn & Play family on things that have

recently happened and to keep everyone on the same page. We really need your

support right now in keeping our shared dream of an inclusive family center

ALIVE!!

From our successful marketing efforts, families are coming through the doors

and falling in love with the place. As many of you know, it is so much MORE

than a play center..it is a place of HOPE, UNDERSTANDING, and ACCEPTANCE

that does not exist anywhere else. The kids that have been coming in for

open play time and summer camp not only love it, but they are showing

improvements in their behaviors across the board as a RESULT of it. Children

& adults that have been coming in for Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy are

experiencing AMAZING improvements (a selection of our family stories can be

seen on our facebook page). We have been so appreciative and taken aback by

all of these heartwarming stories from our Live Learn & Play family.

We were devastated last week to find out that our investors are no longer in

support of our once shared mission and will no longer be backing us. Their

unrealistic expectation of profitability after only 45 days in operation was

brought to our attention on Thursday. We are now on our own and in very

serious need of support in order to continue to provide services to our kids

and families. If we are unable to raise awareness and funding to continue to

support our mission, we will be out of business by September.

Over the last 3 years, there have been countless people and families that

have connected with this concept, helped to build it up to where it is today

and are so grateful for the center that has recently been unveiled. To only

allow 45 days in operation for this center that ALREADY means so much to so

many kids and families in our community, is truly a tragedy.

Our plan...

To get as much community support as possible ASAP- media, large community

groups, families, organizations, etc.

We created a fundraising campaign on indiegogo.com. We need to raise at

least $25,000 within the next 30 days otherwise we will no longer be able to

maintain the center. We created cool " perks " for contributions including

handmade thank you notes from our kids, tshirts, play packages, mild

hyperbaric therapy packages, consultation services (all of which can be

enjoyed by the contributor or donated to a deserving family in need).

WE WILL NOT GIVE UP. WE STILL BELIEVE

whole-heartedly in our mission and are dedicated to our families to succeed.

In order for us to do that, we do need your support.

Any and all suggestions, support, ideas, comments, connections and

encouragement is welcome and needed at this time!!
