Hi all...Ive had a wonderful scoby given to me, that has produced wonderful

babies, very thick, very fast, and great kombucha tea. the man that gave me

the scobie said he used a combination of rooibos and black tea, and it tasted

FANTASTIC! ive been using the same combo, and now all of a sudden, my scobies

have slowed waaaaay down. and the scobies are very thin, in the same length of

time.

1 jar has taken almost 2 weeks, and isnt tasting right yet. the others are

the same way( i have 2 others, so i can make it to be ready at differant times)

the weather here is quite warm-between high 70's to over 90, so i dont beleive

its the warmth....what makes this happen? do i need to get a new scobie?

another thing is one of the scobies, i have changed to trying to do a continuous

brew, i know the jar is larger, but ive allowed for that too.

that one is no wheres near ready.

any ideas?

Nona
