I was talking to a foundation repair person about an area of my foundation that

needs help. He recommended an air ventilation device to draw air out of

basement since area that needed repair was not reachable from outside and area

was small to get high moisture air and damp smell out of basement. I pointed

out that an water damage inspector (who Carl had recommended) noticed evidence

of mold there, not the black fussy stuff but some bluish stained concrete that I

would not have noticed. He said " yea, that is dangerous stuff. My wife had

cancer and she asked her oncologist how she could have gotten cancer at such a

young age. Oncologist listed a whole laundry list of culprits, which may have

included mold, he didn't say. His wife said my house had a mold problem, could

I have gotten it from that? Her oncologist said 'definately'. " ..yea!!!! He said

to me they had aspergillus contamination in their house. (So did I and I also

had cancer..., but I also had lead dust exposure, which is a carcinogen also.

Dr Rae said could have been either one or both, or of course..something

else...no way to pinpoint but these were for sure around in abundance.) I took

his doctors name since I would like to deal with someone who knows that if I

have reoccurence, although she uses traditional treatments: poison, burn, etc,

it sounded like.
