Follow up report of moldy washer

So it's been quite a disaster! I ordered a new machine and just when you think

you know everything, I open the new unit and nearly pass out from plastic VOC

fumes. What? I didn't expect that but I've been compromised and feel horrible

and the washer just had too much plastic.

After alot of crying on the phone to my husband I called the store (neighborhood

guy, understand my issues, god bless him) and he researches and finds the one

machine with a stainless steel tub inside and a porcelain outer tub. The only

plastic is the agitator. I have not even opened the washer yet because the

installation caused a leak in the water pipe and after a short nervous breakdown

(again much crying on the phone to my husband) I called the plumber and he fixed

it. I left all the windows open and a fan blowing to dry the area and pray to

god nothing gets moldy.

So, I have a migraine now and I am easily $800-$900 poorer after all the pickups

and restocking charges and plumber fees.
