Guest guest
This type of story just makes me cry!! I know of a, once lovely house, right here in my town that sat empty for 2 yrs. Leaking roof and is most likely mold ridden. I heard that it was finally sold. Young lady about 30 yrs. old and is fixing it up with the help of her parents!!! It should be against the law for a house to be sold or rented in these conditions!! was I was living in a rental house with toxic mold and the land lord would not clean it up. I was forced to move out and lost all of my personal belongings. Also the doctors found eight lesions on my sons brain right after we moved out through an MRI scan. There was also a leak in the service line which the Dept. of Public Works found one day during a random neighbor smoke test.
Guest guest
My condo was empty for a year and a half with a sewage leak going undetected the entire time. My neighbor told me the guy that was living there before me became ill and had to move thus causing the unit to go into foreclosure for the second time in a 4 year period. I moved in and after 6 weeks was forced out and have never really recovered. The condo is in foreclosure for the third time but at least the sewage leak has been fixed but because there was so much mold in the crawl space after 2 remediations mold still exists. I drive by the unit periodically to see if theres a for sale sign, when it does go up for sale I'll get the realtors name and make sure he/she knows that the condo has mold and it should be listed as such. I dont want anyone to go through what Im going through, I went through benzo w/d and that was bad but at least I had a roof over my head and didnt have to worry about mold. I cant understand why God wants me to suffer like this. I'd prefer he just take my life and be done with it. Apologies for straying off topic, Im just feeling kind of depressed today > > > This type of story just makes me cry!! Guest guest
I agree. But they can be sold with a disclosure in some states. There are investors who buy properties and then sell them and cover the problems up. It all disgusts me. We need laws on Toxic Mold, please write to your representatives and requests laws be passed regarding the reporting of buildings with mold so at least there is a recourse. It is being passed in other states, require it in yours. God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen ________________________________ From: " ssr3351@...
