Guest guest
From another facebook member................from Georgia........ (and vaccines don't prove immunity anyway - but no placebo safety study of any kind.............not that they ever do a true placebo anyway....sheri) So I emailed the manufactures of the MMr vaccine to ask a question, this is the response I got. 31/07/2012 Our Ref: 6798 Dear Ms M.............. Thank you for your enquiry regarding M-M-RvaxPro® (Measles, mumps and rubella vaccine (live)). You have asked for information about the clinical studies that were conducted on the MMR vaccine. You have specifically asked what was in the placebo used in these studies although you have not specified why you require this information. While many clinical studies do include a placebo arm, this is not always the case for vaccine studies. Immunogenicity studies were conducted on the MMR vaccine prior to its initial licensure in the US and elsewhere approximately 40 years ago. These involved giving the vaccine to the study participants and then measuring their antibody responses to the three components of the vaccine. Vaccine safety was measured at the same time. In these studies a placebo was not used. More detailed information regarding M-M-RvaxPro® is available using the following link: http://www.ema.europa.eu/ema/index.jsp?curl=pages%2Fmedicines%2Fhuman%2Fmedicines%2F000604%2Fhuman_med_000907.jsp & murl=menus%2Fmedicines%2Fmedicines.jsp & jsenabled=true I hope this information is helpful.
