Guest guest
Chris: stick with the diagnosis of toxic encephalopathy. I have multiple peer reviewed research papers in my library that demonstrate that toxic chemicals (xenobiotics) cause chronic inflammatory of the brains, which is the basis of Toxic Encephalopathy and other recognized diseases of the CNS. If you use the term MCS you will run into medical and legal problems. Yes, Social Security accepts the diagnosis, but looks at it as a psychiatric oriented illness. The basic injury is brain damage. The papers I have in my library demonstrate this beyond doubt. Once the brain becomes inflamed the injured party develops all forms of symptoms, headaches, visual field changes, neurocongitive decline, etc. as well as an exaggerated response to odors. The actual process is CIRS of the brain. With respect to Morgellon's, it is an illness that is not understood at this time. I did a pilot study with a Mycocologist on the fungi present in the skin lesions. We have not, at this stage, found a correlation between a specific fungus and the lesions. We have isolated multiple species of fungi. We are still working on it the study. I will say that the number of patients we have studied is small and the we may not be able to identify the appropriate microorganisms because of the small number of subjects.
