Guest guest
I have moved twice since our intial exposure. It became apparent to me on the first move that I/we (my son) were the problem. I took almost nothing with us. I then seperated the both of us for a couple of months on my second relocation due to work. Not only have I confirmed my internal infestation, but now my sons. I had a lovely three level townhome at one time chock full of good stuff. I threw away 5600 lbs of furniture and stuff and stored the rest. The storage I am afraid to go near and am investigating getting a haz mat suit myself......lol Theres my story so far. My best wishes. MOVING hey i'm planning to move soon and do not want to bring the bird miteswith me. any idea on how i can do this without throwing out everything? thanks! Guest guest
and group;  That's OK , The trigger on migraines can be hard to find. At least I got a pain med to stop them for a while. Maybe I should get a hypothyroid test, and my migraines would leave. Guest guest
Although this is a good idea, ive resigned to basically toss 90% of my stuff. That couch has alot of chemicals sprayed on it, and we have a baby. First thing i want is peace of mind. i dont want to find we have a problem after we move. i dont want to worry about the baby putting her face on the couch. I want to comfortably sit and not have to worry about anything at all whatsoever. So what we wont have a damn thing when we get there. We will just put the kids trampoline in the living room and sleep and sit on it. LOL I plan on posting my moving plan soon! > > > > > > > > Yesterday i covered my floors heavily in DE and RP mixture. Today i dont feel the mites jumping on my legs like they used to. Mixing the RP powder with DE is a good way to make the RP more affordable. Just make sure that this mixture isnt anywhere where it could get wet. DE loses its effectiveness when it gets wet. Also dont use it in your laundry. Guest guest
Hi there, im currently staying w my mum in a mouldy house... I moved here after getting sick in my old house and staying in many other mouldy houses. She and i both very sick... Cirs-wdb, lots of nasty auto immune stuff going on. She unwilling and unable to go live in a tent and throw her stuff behind, just not going to happen. This house is really messed up, i can smell a rotting smell after rain. Very bad. The car also contaminated in the ac, get reactions there too. I cant be in any other room but my own for too long. I do get symptoms in my own room but they are lesser.... I get worse all the time though... Was wondering whether moving would provide much benefit at all. Would it slow things down? How quickly do things cross contaminate? Surely living in a mould free house would still be better than mouldy despite cross contamination and her bringing clothing etc from this house. She would probably keep car. I know this probably all silly questions and me clutching at straws yet again. Just wondering though since my room gives me less symptoms and ive been sleeping in here 6 weeks now, still the cross contamination is lesser than other areas of the house.. Dont want to go through moving if the benefit is very minimal as its costly on many levels, also finding a suitable house thats safe mcs wise proving v difficult... At same time hate sitting around watching things get worse...
Guest guest
Hi whatstheuse2, We kinda had to do that, although we stayed in our townhouse. We took 2 large loads of most of our belongings to the local dump and rented a U-Haul. My husband and I did as much packing as we could (most), but we had to hire someone to remove all the carpets. The bugs were crawling everywhere, but you couldn't see them. We called a company and disclosed everything to them and I mean everything, but they sent two poor fellows to do the work with no protection whatsoever. One fellow was jumping up and down with all the crawlies when he finished... literally! I often wonder if he got these too as a result of the work. We paid triple what one would normally pay for this service. Guest guest
I'd keep jewelry. Maybe put it in sealed plastic bags for a couple of years. I used to get biting under my watch and wedding ring and I quit wearing those for a few years, but now no problem with them at all. From: "whatstheuse2" <terelynjon@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, September 8, 2011 11:14:31 AMSubject: Moving Hi, I'm thinking about moving in with my parents. Guest guest
I didn't throw everything away. A lo of my things were stored for a year, but many things I kept with me. When I treated the chronic infections whatever was in my environment and on me gradually went away. It took about a year. Now I have all my old things and no more infestation whatsoever. Of course I'm still treating Lyme and other chronic infections. Slow and steady. Cleaning and topical applications will only temporarily calm the situation. Guest guest
I have already torn out the carpet myself, but have hardly thrown out anything in the kitchen. It is going to look really crazy throwing out all that stuff. Even some of my plates, bowls, etc. feel infected now. I'm sort of sad to part with everything...and I know if my mother is over during that time she will want to save some things. She is driving me around as my car is infected also. She doesn't think I'm crazy, but I don't know what she will think when she sees me throwing all my stuff away. On Thu, Sep 8, 2011 at 2:28 PM, <Goldstein@...> wrote:  Hi whatstheuse2, We kinda had to do that, although we stayed in our townhouse. From: " whatstheuse2 " <terelynjon@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, September 8, 2011 11:14:38 AMSubject: Moving  Hi, I'm thinking about moving in with my parents. Guest guest
I started taking colloidal silver yesterday. I wish I could get rid of the mites in the bottom of my feet I picked up last week. It feels like pads on the bottom of my feet around my toes, more on the right where I was using my foot pedal for 2 days wearing infected flip flops I guess.  On Thu, Sep 8, 2011 at 2:57 PM, Aandraya <aandraya@...> wrote:  I don't believe throwing away everything is the answer.  I had a bad infestation, treat the infections and this stuff won't be attracted to you and be growing on you.  The average healthy person isn't affected by these organisms, they don't become a chronic issue. Guest guest
The soles of the feet sensation is Bartonella- one of the Lyme coinfections, it's classic. CS will almost positively not be enough for an antimicrobial. You need multiple herbal and/or rx antibiotics.Aandraya On Sep 8, 2011, at 2:34 PM, <terelynjon@...> wrote: I started taking colloidal silver yesterday. She doesn't think I'm crazy, but I don't know what she will think when she sees me throwing all my stuff away. Guest guest
It's 8-12 months to treat, depending on how virulent the strain is, other coinfections, and of course immune system status. Levaquin has been nothing short of a miracle for my Bart. Going on 4 months.AandrayaOn Sep 8, 2011, at 3:29 PM, Goldstein@... wrote: I probably most likely still have Bartonella, but the main symptoms are decreased and foot sensations are mostly gone. Guest guest
Aandraya,My doctor prescribed Rifampin for Bartonella and I still have not taken the prescription, because I did not want to do Doxy with the Rifampin, but have the prescription since June. Do you know of anyone who has had luck with that or should I just ask her for Levaquin script? For Morgellons she prescribed Prazequantil, 600 Tid and Metronidazole, 250 mg Tid. I went to fill the script for Prazequantil and it would have cost me over $1,000 for one script. I said "no thanks."From: "Aandraya" <aandraya@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, September 8, 2011 1:36:16 PMSubject: Re: Moving It's 8-12 months to treat, depending on how virulent the strain is, other coinfections, and of course immune system status.
