Guest guest
Hi is 15 , haircuts were always a nightmare, however after all these years we finally found something that helps! So easy too, While my husband is getting his haircut, I put on another chair and spin him one way then the other, the entire time hubby is getting his cut, then its 's turn, somehow the motion helps him to settle down, and sit for his haircuts, without the crying, screaming, kicking etc., we are now down to him insisting verbally that he is done the entire time but it is so much better then before, give it a try Viola **************Start the year off right. He has been a teeth grinder since he cut teeth. We hardly notice it, but little old ladies at church do notice. We have been going to Kennedy Kreiger for the last year with Dr> Capone, he put on abillify and now we have no more teeth grinding. has actually ground his teeth smooth, sigh... Our big problems are drs. of all types and getting a haircut. I've been cutting hair in sleep for 15 years. We have tried it all, all sorts of pecs, story boards, rewards, patience from God himself. Any successes on the haircutting? Geez....I started out with teeth grinding, now I'm talking about haircuts. Guest guest
(8) has ground his teeth since before he had teeth, almost from birth. It has gotten much less pronounced since he started Abilify. He hates haircuts unless I do them. I have no ability in this, but I do it anyway. Hoping to try out a salon again before too long and see how it goes. It used to be quite a screaming, sobbing scene - in the shop, and then me on the way home. We are both more sane now with his home grown hairdo, and I like to keep it a little long anyway after those bald years of cancer treatment. Beth and grinding is 15 he has down syndrome and pdd also social anxiety disorder. He has been a teeth grinder since he cut teeth. We hardly notice it, but little old ladies at church do notice.
