Guest guest
When I was exposed to mold I became more and more sensitive to more and more different things that had previously been OK. That continued until I got back on my protocols for candida and took foot baths to remove the toxins. Then my sensitivity decreased and I could tolerate more and more things again. Later, when I got more mold exposure AGAIN, my sensitivities came back again, mostly to the same things, but also to some new things that had been OK before. I noticed that once I got long exposure to something I couldn't tolerate then it seemed like I was even more sensitive after that and would react to other things worse and sooner. The really strange thing with me this year has been that sometimes things smell (that normally I shouldn't be able to smell) and other times they don't. When things smell pretty bad then I almost always react to it. And then other times they don't smell and I don't react to it. What happens is this: When I take my protocols, whatever they may be at the time, smells change. Either they go away or they get worse. If smells were strong that normally aren't and I take my flora or antifungal or whatever then they seem to go away. If I wasn't smelling anything and then I take them then smells can come back. Then when the effects have worn off from the protocols the smells go away or come back again. This cycle has repeated over and over since May. For instance, last night I had to move to the den because the living room where I've been having to stay started smelling moldy after the heavy rains we've had and some leaks we discovered and I started reacting. No smells in the den. Now that I have taken my flora and antifungal the urine odor from my roommates old sick cat that just wouldn't shampoo out completely is smelling strong to me. But all night I couldn't smell a thing and I had no problem. Now will I start reacting to the urine? Sigh.......... As I take my protocols I notice slow improvement in tolerance and some things I begin to tolerate again while others not yet. Another thing, I don't just react to things I smell and eat, I also react to things I absorb through my skin. I can't put anything on my skin right now, not lotion, not a bandaid, only almond oil for my dry hands and face. So when you dyed your hair I was thinking that it might not have been only the smell you reacted to but the chemicals on your scalp that got absorbed through the skin. The last time I dyed my hair when I still could with a dye from the health store that barely smelled at all I reacted to what I absorbed through my scalp because I didn't get it washed out enough the first time. That study you read about only being reactive to what we've been exposed to during our exposure sounded interesting. Huh, I wonder. Ha, I already don't smell the urine again. Go figure. Guest guest
anita, yes, I have the same problems with the skin. I lost my sence of smell on the left side and it's distorted on the right, nothing tastes right either. > > When I was exposed to mold I became more and more sensitive to more and more different things that had previously been OK. Guest guest
Anita, I dont think any reactions were from dye soaking into my scalp, I have the these same reactions to alot of things, it the RADS and the condition of my sinuses, olfactory tract, brain damage I suffered that cause these types of reactions. > > > > When I was exposed to mold I became more and more sensitive to more and more different things that had previously been OK.
