Guest guest
Margaret, Last year there was an small blip in the paper saying families could come to this park on a Sunday and apply for this episode that just aired tonight. I downloaded the app and was totally serious about applying until a friend of mine laughed at me saying that they wouldn't take a family that owned property and more than one house!! Is it my fault the darn real estate market is so awful and we can't sell anything?! UGH! I would have loved for them to come and fix this old house... I only caught the last few minutes of tonights episode, I knew it was a family somewhere down east, I'm sure there will be a blip in the paper and on the news tomorrow. Was it the youngest son who was possibly autistic? He looked a little fidgety in Mom's arms there at the end. What was the ghost part about??? They think the house is haunted, too. Should be some funny moments. Take care, Everyone. Margaret **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Hey, Jayne! The older son was Autistic and I think they " think " the younger might be as well.... The house had been passed down through generations..and the mom's great grandfather wanted to make sure the house stayed in the family and apparently told a " ghost whisperer " Ty brought in that as long as they used portions of the original house he approved of the demo. Guest guest
Hey Liz, Just goes to show, we Mom's can spot a child with Autism a mile away! I'll have to look online and see the " before " pics, the " after " looked nice from what I saw. Our house was built in 1850, there's quite a bit of history in these old houses and possibly some linguring " people " ! My husband and son just found newspapers from WW 2 that were in our old chicken coop building. They had put papers down to insulate and then put sand over them, the papers were in great shape - we could read everything in them. The funny part was that my father in law recognized a lot of the family names in the paper! History can be fun that way, never much cared for it back in school but now as I'm " older " it's far more interesting! LOL! take care, Jayne Liz DeSantis wrote: Hey, Jayne! Guest guest
Jayne: I love those homes. I lived in NH for 3 yrs. way back when (that is where my oldest, Kris, was born) and lived in an old boarding house built in the early 1800s and it was " inhabited " . My girlfriend's house in MA. was definitely - seen and heard things there many a times. Hoping got off safe and returns safe!
