Hi Margaret,

LOL, Zeb is more like Gareth but wouldn't let me in the bathroom with him ever.

Zeb comes out clean but I hardly doubt he uses much soap. What I don't know

won't bother me. He never wipes his back, puts the shirt on and comes out with a

wet shirt. He goes to his closet and changes to another shirt. The hair is not

greasy so I suppose he uses some shampoo or maybe that's where he uses the soap.

I remember my daughter with the mop of hair that never rinsed out the shampoo

very well. I'd rather deal with no shampoo than too much. Be happy that Gareth

asks you if you love him, even if it's all day long,LOL. I took Zeb today for a

reading test. He told the evaluator this elaborate story about being adopted. He

was so convincing that she asked me if I adopted him. I have known this woman

for many years. At least you are acknowledged as MOM.

thought of you this morning while *helping*

Gareth with his shower. I have to wash his hair due to sensory issues and still

have to soap up the wash clothe for him. If I left the whole process to him,

there would be very little or no soap involved!!! He washes his hair with a

drop of shampoo on one hand, takes that hand over only the top part of his

head, and then rinses. He will never use liquid soap and rarely touches the

bar soap. It's really sad.....19 y/o and still needs help. As for drying, he

takes the towel over his stomach area and under his arms....then he gets

dressed.

Did anyone see 'For Better or Worse' today in the comics? That is

Gareth.....very day, all day long!!! " Do you love me? " Do you like your

son? " We

all had a good laugh this morning....including Gareth!!!

Take care, Everyone.

Margaret

Elie comes out of the shower with " his " towel macho style around is neck.

HE never drys off with the towel - he prefers to air dry. We try to keep

the hall door cloed when he is in the bath, because he comes to the doorway

with that towel around his neck. IF I have company they get quite a view!

Im sorry Charlyne, but this gave me a chuckle! I cant imagine nathan every

doing this, as he doesn't really talk that much, Im unsure if he even know what

adopted is let alone the word. He just learned the word " puree " for his

certain food items instead of " chop " . I love hearing in his speech " I la you "

for I love you. He says it pretty often, so im thankful. can do most

things in the shower per self, still needs some supervision and

checks/reminders

to wash his hair and to make sure he got all the shampoo out,and to wash his

body with the scrunchie and body soap, and then ofcourse to actually get

out, lol, he would stay singing in there all night, lol. shawna

He's superman, lol. We have to remind to dry off too, and he just

likes to wrap around his waist, like lifeguards do and then start in with his

deoderant and other after shower regime without drying off. shawna
