I saw a video that said that micro greens like regular day/night cycles and not

extended light.  We put our lights on around 7:00 am and off around 5:30 pm.

, I found a reference today while looking for info on starting regular

plant seedlings, and the woman on groworganic.com said 14 hrs for artificial

light. She didn't mention wattage, but showed a couple of different kinds. I'm

using standard 4' T5 fluorescents, not nearly your wattage, so I don't know how

comparable they'd be. I just run mine all day long while I'm up. For some

reason I'm a little paranoid about fire, so don't use them when I'm sleeping.

(75W) grow light.  Right now, my diverse seeds look like tiny sprouts.  I hope

they will widen into microgreens.  My question is how long should the grow

lamp go on?.  I believe this forum has issues on electricity.  Melody, how

long you turn the lights on?

pope  :)   They are take out plastic plates.  Also, it is recommended

during the germination phase to keep a cloth or paper towel on top. (handy

wipes).  I keep that moisten and at night I create a little green house by

turning another plate on top so the moisture circulates.
