Guest guest
CK-Have they checked his thyroid? Tori had a massive breakdown last Feb. and was hospitalized as well. The thryoid was the culprit on our end. Here's hoping they find out what is going on with Ian. Liz Ian in hospital Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I am here in stown with Ian, who is in the hospital. He had some kind of major behavioral incident on Monday night, saw the psych on Tuesday, and she sent him here. I came on Tuesday night. I'm staying in a house associated with the hospital, the Hanna Lee House, which is something like a Mc house, except not just for parents. It's right down the street, and I can do laundry there. While there is no heat in the room (furnace is broken), they've given me a space heater and that's been just fine. Internet access is available only at a coffee shop off Main Street, so this won't be up to you until tomorrow. I'm writing this at 11:17 am on Friday. Ian is well. He has been calm since Tuesday. He's had an EEG (normal) and a CT scan (normal), and now they're working with his meds to see if they can figure out what he needs. Life is the psych ward is rather surreal. It's like living in a chapter of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Ian's mood is good. Right now he is writing me a note. Oh, and Ian has a unibrow too, but they shave it. Guest guest
Hi CK, Glad to hear Ian is resting comfortably and you seem like you are doing well - despite no heat! Geez, if it isn't always something, right? Take care of yourself and keep us updated when you can, Jayne CK wrote: Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I am here in stown with Ian, who is in the hospital. Guest guest
will keep ian in my prayers!! has been moody all week too, has a good 30min tantrum this afternoon, i kept him very busy all afternoon when he came out of it and that seem to do the trick. He is quietly watching boomerang channel right now. I think its all this bitter cold weather, its been way below zero here seems like forever days and schools canceled. And snowing etc. Its hard to say. I do hope they can figure something out for ian, and he is back to his usual self in no time. shawna In a message dated 1/19/2008 6:32:04 A.M.
