Guest guest
I would love to understand more about ionizers since two have mentioned not to get. The Blue Air ionizes. It has an electrostatic part that either makes particles charge neg or pos to stick to the filter.. in the process ionized air (assuming neg) is produced. IT cleans more particles (performance in particle removal) than Austin Air as does Alen and IQ Air, but Austin Air is well priced comparitively speaking. This is what I have found: http://www.allergybuyersclubshopping.com/iqair.html?itemId=199 (this is the page I last visited.. ont referring specifically to this machine, though it seems the best) http://www.airpurifiergalore.com/austin-air-purifier.html http://www.air-purifiers-america.com/lc_top10.asp?linkid=homeHero-top10 http://www.allergyconsumerreview.com/how-we-rate-and-compare-home-air-purifiers.\ html Austin Airs hve the least particle removal as compared to IQ, Alen, Blue Air.. AAs range form 80-90% while the others are in upper 90s. But the AAs are cheaper. Im not thinking mold as much as dust, dander, chemicals..
