Guest guest
Forgot to mention. If you look closely at a respirator there is a rubber baffle on the front hole. It's meant to block incoming air but allow air out when you exhale. On the plastic 3M it got moldy but the baffle was easy to remove. I'd replace it with a carely placed piece of tissue after every wearing. The baffle in the silicone one is harder to get to. Like I said, I line it with the I Can Breathe liner to prevent condensation. Do check & wash your mask frequently & dry it thoroughly. Guest guest
Sorry folks - need to clarify something. I referred to my cartridge as a filter. WRONG. There is also something called a filter which really didn't do much. It's a disk of various layers of fabrics about 1/2 " thick. The " cartridge " is the workhorse. > > Forgot to mention. > If you look closely at a respirator there is a rubber baffle on the front hole.
