Hi! I am newby here, 37 raw vegan, engineer from Moscow, Russia. I became raw

food vegan 1,5 year ago and eats only live vegan food and sprouts are an

significant part of my daily ration. So, I met a problem of convenient sprouting

and bringing them to my office, and started with jars and rags, have tested some

construction of different sprouter, finally I made my own construction of mobile

sprouter, that I named Smartsprouter. The idea of it: small individual sprouter

that could be used in 2 mode: sprouting and transportation (as sealed container)

with no one separate parts (all parts are always mounted at the sprouter). The

construction became so convenient for me, that I even started a mass production

of it (so, my new way of life became a part of my business, could be said :-).

sprouter-en I started the sales of my Smartsprouter in Russia this April, and

already 2000 people being using my Smartsprouter, with great positive feedback

(actually I have a hundred very positive feedbacks and only one negative from

Canada - till now I do not understand why). Now I want to offer Smartsprouter to

the sprouting people in USA, Australia and European countries. I had opened a

find other more effective way to offer my sprouter to the people. So could

someone recommend me what is the best way to present my sprouter (that I am sure

is the most convenient

Dear Carolyn,

thank you for your response. I produce my smartsprouter at factory in Guangzhou,

China - it is big modern factory that produce mainly for export (dishes and

child nutrition toys and milk bottles for England and USA, I have been working

with this factory already many years for different plastic goods production), so

in any case I need transport from there. We are living in a global world - to

ship sprouters from my warehouse in Hongkong to (for example) USA will be just

+3 USD in case we ship 2 boxes (there are 40units of sprouter in one box), it is

just a small adding for the cost, and also to my country I shipped from China

2000pcs and it added just +2,3 USD to ExW price, so shipping it is not a problem

at all. I work a lot in Hongkong and in China, have a company there, so I could

manage it easy, the main problem for me to find a partner (shop or

internet-shop) who will manage sales in his country. And the difference in sold

quantity - 2000pcs in Russia for 4 months (mainly sold by living and health

food shops) and just 9 (!) pcs at e-bay show me that e-bay is not the best

solution :-), so I want to try now to distribute my sprouter through the shops

in different countries instead of direct sales to endcustomer, this is my idea.

Sorry but I do not know the abbreviation " BPA " , the plastic I used it is ABS and

PS, bot used for children milk bottles, with very high requirement to health. I

paid for strict tests in the branch of international laboratory in Guangzhou,

China, and also in Russian state laboratory in Russia, where sprouters were

tested very hard, you could see the test protocol attached, the result is much

better that even the allowed norms for European Union (in acordance with

European Community Directive 2004/1935/EC " Food Contact Materials " – Directive

NO. 1935/2004/EC of European Parliament and of the Council from Oktober 27,

This is a really very convenient sprouter that many people in my country already

enjoyed, but with other markets like USA I have no experience and feel that

people are suspicious to the products " Made in China " (in spite most of their

things also made in China but they just do not know about it :-), even I did my

best and used the most expensive and ecological plastic material, so need a good

advice what the strategy is better in USA to start my business there :-) I would

very appreciate your idea which way it better for it.
