Guest guest
How could they not find mold? Not a single mention despite the dust samples coming from Netherlands, 6 Midwestern states, and Sacramento. My guess is they looked at the large particles if this phrase is a clue, " ...Smaller dust particles - from 28 to 49 microns... " That's visible dust. Hair is about 100 microns. Most mold is 1-10 microns. Most particle studies talk about PM 10 and PM 2.5 (microns). The ultra-fine particles, which are even smaller, are becoming a greater concern. Either this is a lousy study or the news reporting is lousy. http://news./s/time/20100223/hl_time/0859919668700 0 Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC
Guest guest
Carl: you are still thinking in the old terminology of particulates. The very recent research on particulates from Seo, Vesper, Roponen has clearly shown that very fine particles are present at many fold greater concentrations than are the larger particulates at 2.5 PM 10 and higher.
