In reply to:

4a. Hypersensitivity after exposure

I'd like to try out cholestyramine or questram. What to do with the

hypersensitivity which started after trying to empty my house of

books, furniture, etc.? The result of visualcontrastsensitivitytest

from Ritchie Shoemaker of www.chronicneurotoxins.com showed exposure

to biotoxins.

With kind regards,

Elly

---------------

I started taking cholestyramine about a month ago. I can only take it

twice a day because otherwise I'd literally never be able to eat, and

it binds whatever is there and out it goes. Since I'm underweight,

binding of the food I eat is not a good idea.

I never got any side effects that I am aware of; apparently reflux is

one of the worse ones but I haven't had it.

I've noticed that my brain fog is better (i.e., less of it) and I can

think straighter. Also, the full-body itching I was putting up with

seems to have gone away. But it is clear after this amount of time

that I am being continually re-exposed or the symptoms would have

gotten better than they have. However, I am grateful for what I've

gotten. What hasn't gotten better is the no-discernable-cause

dysentery-like intestinal problem that just goes on and on no matter

what I do.

My Intergrative doctor felt it was necessary to give me massive

amounts of anti biotics for the past month to treat the nasal staph

way back in the nasal cavity that many mold suferrer have.

I have been successful in treating this without antibiotics. I have a

spray bottle (the kind that comes with just saline in it, at the drug

store) that was thorougly cleaned and then filled with colloidal

silver with a little DMSO. I started spraying that up in my sinuses

twice daily a few months ago. At first the burning was such that I

wanted to just climb up a wall, but gradually over time the burning

has simply gone away, and for the first time that I can remember, my

sinuses are clear. Every once in a while, a little burning comes back,

but for the most part I seem to be controlling this with the spray.

-----------

I just bought a high voltage particle preciptator to use in my house,

which has no visible mold but....it was after I bought that house that

I started to get sick. Once I've used it for a while I'll report on

any benefits that I see. The HEPP pulls out all particles, not just

mold spores, and supplies ions also. The particles are dumped into

water; so it's not a filter where the particles get trapped through

air flow. It's a different process.
