Guest guest
Here are some photos of my lazy test of Melody's Ziplock MikroFarm tray gizmo. I took these with my cell phone so they aren't very good. This little tray is only about 7 " x11 " as I didn't want to waste my supplies in case test failed. The holes in the lid are about 1/4 " and 1-1.5 " apart and made with a regular drill. Just took a couple of minutes. The cool thing is that I didn't spend $$$ on official growing trays. They are growing, but probably 1/3 or so have not gotten any taller. One mistake I made (this is my first experience with sunflower seeds) is that I sprouted them for too long before planting on baby blanket. At one point I left them all day long without checking and they had grown really fast. Next time I'll be more careful. This left me with enough confidence to try a small tray of broccoli though. So, giving credit where due, thank you Melody for thinking up creative ways. It's more fun when the seeds grow. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sproutpeople/photos/album/1234660488/pic/l\ ist Dona

Guest guest
Ha - thanks - I didn't know either. Took me a while to find it. I found the photo section by accident when someone else left a link.
