Guest guest
Hi, Everyone....Jean....I had to laugh. What memories!!! I, too, from the ages of 3-10 y/o had to cut Gareth's hair while he slept. It's amazing how nice he would look after, too!!! As for the teeth grinding, yup.....been there, too. Gareth's baby teeth were ground down to nothing but they came in late and fell out late......meaning that by the time he went on the Risperdal, at age 10, his secondary teeth were saved. The Risperdal took away the head banging, teeth grinding, up all night, aggressiveness, and noncompliance. It also help immensely with the 'flop and drop' syndrome that many of our kids have!!! We could FINALLY connect with him verbally and cognitively, too, AND he started talking.....albeit only 2-3 word sentences with lot's of stuttering, but we will take it!!! Take care, Everyone.
