When I lived there, it was about 2 in the afternoon that it seemed to ALWAYS

rain, not long about 5-10 min. Yeah there could be other rrain any time of day

or night. I just got in the habbit of know when the rain came it I could hang my

laundry out afterwords...lol then when a I was done with that I would start

dinner. It was my natures timmer.lol

It can rain any time of the day or night but mot often time is in the late

afternoon, about 4 pm or 5 pm.  I have sat outside in the car for 10 or 15 min.

for it to slow down or stop before getting out and going in.

Tampa is where I met my Hubby. and had our 1st child. That was MANY moons ago, I

remember you could almost set your watch by the afternoon shower! Had our 2nd in

Milton Fl. . Like Florida enough to visit, but dont want to live there again and

it has nothing to do with the weather..lol

> carolyn.....you're right.....florida weather is just lovely for most of the

year.....we ( personally ) became tired of the heat in the summer but for the

majority of time that we lived in florida, we greatly enjoyed

them.....hurricanes are just part of nature.....you learn to " batten down the

hatches " when one is headed your way and god willin' and the crick don't rise it

will decide to head away from you.....it is just part of nature and one heck of

an experience to go through
