Guest guest
Theoretically, people could get impetigo if it is on her hands. Not the mouth - for somereason, germs in the mouth on paper seem to die - sort of like germs on wooden cutting boards in the kitchen. MAybe a chemical reaction???? Elie has terribly dry skin. He only bathes on alternate days. We use foam bath I get from the Dollar Tree which has cucumber, melon and jojoba and a little aloe. He uses no soap. we use coal tar slaicylate shampoo for his psoriasis on his scalp. These measures have helped alot from when he had constant tiny fissures in his wrinkles and cracks on his feet with various fungii. No fungii, no odor, no impetigo and his psoriasis is down to one tiny area the size of a pinky nail. DH just remoined me that at one point we had panels over shelves which we attached at both ends with hook and eye fasteners with slides on them so Elie couldn't get at the shleves. We attached no hinges so that when we didn't need them anymore, all I had to do was fill the little tiny holes on the shelf where the eye hook was. The hardest part was finding the wood at a price we could afford. Then we let Elie " decorate it " . Quite zoo like for a few years, but my books and " treasures " were safe. > Well, Angie does have impetigo. The only idea I have is to strip the bookshelves of everything. > NO matter where I put books on the shelf, she gets them. UGH! > > > -- Sara - Life is a journey- we choose the path. Guest guest
nathan does too, and this bitter iowa weather doesn't help much. during the winter he only bathes every other night. And we get some Rx lotion that really helps, and use special shampoo for his scalp. If his skin is really bad, i just put some baby oil in his bath water. shawna In a message dated 1/17/2008 6:05:16 P.M. Central Standard Time, pastmidvale@... writes: Elie has terribly dry skin.
