Guest guest
Hmm, the impaction must be huge. was very nauseated the last two mornings despite passing the big ball and diarrhea, though he got to feeling better each day after a while. The GI nurse practitioner says, as I suspected, that she thinks he still is impacted. She said that was not just a ball of fecal material lodged in the Xray; it was thoroughly packed up and down the colon. So though my poor guy is having loose stools already, I have to give more megadoses of Miralax and give him an enema today. No fun for me and much less fun for him. Thanks for letting me vent; not too many people want to hear poop woe stories. I better work like crazy the next two hours before he comes home; I have a feeling that he won't be at school tomorrow. Beth Re: beth Beth, I'm sorry you are having such a rough time. It's one thing we havent had to deal with but I'm sure it's miserable. Please let us know how it's going. Hang in there!
