Guest guest
ny's Select Seeds is a good seed catalog. I haven't gotten their microgreens, but they've been in business for many years and have a good reputation. Their prices seem pretty high, but I'm impressed with their selection. H. Guest guest
ny's isnt all organic, if that is important to you. (it is to me, since non organic may be genedtically modified seed-they aren't required to tell you) > > ny's Select Seeds is a good seed catalog. Guest guest
, I don't think there are any vegetable seeds that are GMO. There is GMO wheat, corn, soybeans, canola, and some rice. If there's anything else, it's a major grain, but I can't think of anything else right now. There also is a papaya from Hawaii, I think. They're trying to get control of foods that the world needs to survive, and microgreens or cucumbers aren't on that list. A lot of seed companies have taken a pledge not to sell anything that is GMO, and ny's took that pledge. It's on their website, and here's their statement, from their FAQ's: " *What is a hybrid? Is it the same as Genetically Engineered (GE or GMO)?* No, hybrids are not the same as genetically engineered varieties. ny's does not sell any genetically engineered varieties. To learn more about ny's position on genetically engineered crops, see our Safe Seed Pledge <http://www.johnnyseeds.com/t-SafeSeed.aspx>..... " You will find a statement about this on all of the websites of seed companies that signed that pledge. H.
