I can't believe your CMT kids are denied access to the elevator. I

work with a boy who drives a power wheelchair and we use the elevator

at high school all the time. Kids who have had surgery or sprains,

and the like, and are on crutches all have access to our elevator.

Ours in not locked, but could be locked if the school chose to do

that. Do you have a school nurse? I would contact the school nurse

if you have one, or talk with the physical therapist at school if

there is one in your school district. Otherwise, I would suggest

getting a note from their doctor and speaking with the principal

about using the elevator. If the principal doesn't respond

favorably, talk with the school administrator. If no response there,

go to the school board. I cannot understand how they can deny your

children access to the elevator! Hope this helps!
