that's a really good question because I don't see it there.  I'll try to go

back and see what my copy says and then try to find it on line again.  Don't

think they were trying to see if we were asleep, but I must have been.  Sorry

about that.  I am not sure about where the black beans are.  I'd think drained

and rinsed (for me) and mixed in with everything at the beginning.   I'll see

if I can find it, otherwise it was inadvertently left out but is probably 1

can.

This is the website and they left out the black beans in the ingredients and

directions, but they are in the photo.

Sorry about that.  Guess I should have tried it first.  When I saw it, I

thought you would all appreciate another " burger " recipe.  Even though I read

it, guess I didn't get past those potatoes and that sounded good.  Well, I

figure it must be a can of beans but it isn't in the recipe that was listed. 

Guess I =need to read more carefully.

Thanks! The black beans probably have to be cooked before using. I would

think if they are mushed they might add some " sticky " to the patties.
