Guest guest
<<.I dropped the depokate in the morning and just one at night.. and .5 Risperdal 2 xday and and 1mg at night.. so far he done good of course only day 2.. we will see. He is 9yr and 78lbs.. 4ft and 3inches....>> Hi, Everyone........Risperdal builds up in the system. How long has he been on it? I am curious as to why it is .5 twice a day? Anyways, he is taking the same amt as Gareth is at 150 #. I can see the reason for weaning him off Zoloft and adding the Depakote. Gareth started with a seizure in Jan and now we are facing the same problems. I don't know.....four days of Depakote for Gareth and 4 days of him holding his head and complaining how bad it hurt. It doesn't seem worth it to me. At least Gareth could tell me his head hurt. Prayers coming your way. <<I often wonder if Buddy could help us in a pinch to find , he's quite the sniffer!>> Jayne....you should 'play' with him in finding in the house. Does play Hide and Seek? Give the dog a whiff of his shirt or shoes, have hide, and then tell the dog 'find '. We use to do this with our Newfies and they did just fine. Now granted, we never needed to run the 'real life' version of it, but we were glad to see that our newfs could do it in the house. If won't cooperate, get one of your other kids to practice with. Once the dog knows the command " Find......... " then, it will give you an idea of whether he would be able to help in finding . Make sure the command is simple for the dog, walk him through the lesson several times, give a simple praise to the dog, have the 'lost' child have a treat or reward to give the dog when he finds them, and keep repeating. Tori and Louise.........Happy Birthday to both of you!!! Louise.....you are my Mom's age!!! I didn't know that. Today, I shredded 6 inches of paper work from school and court rulings dating back to the 3 yrs of H#** in a certain school district. It was over 10 yrs ago.......hard to believe!!! As I was rereading some of the sheets, I am amazed at the bull crap they tried to pull and how much $$$ the district wasted fighting inclusion......almost $60,000 in different appeals, due processes, federal court, etc. And they would always loose!!! Anyways........the past has been shredded!!! Take care, Everyone. Margaret **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living.
