Guest guest
<<Does anyone know about lupus and ANA titers? This is totally off topic, but my ANA in 2006 was >1:320 and now it is >1:640.>> Hi, Everyone......... I don't know a lot about Lupus but I do know that Gareth's ANA was 1:80, positive, diffuse cytoplasm, speckled pattern............all significant for Scleroderma. Here's a couple of my favorite blood testing sites that may help you figure out what to ask for. _http://www.labtestsonline.org/map/aindex.html_ (http://www.labtestsonline.org/map/aindex.html) _http://www.rdlinc.com/newtests.html_ (http://www.rdlinc.com/newtests.html) _http://health.nytimes.com/health/guides/test/antithyroglobulin-antibody/overv iew.html_ (http://health.nytimes.com/health/guides/test/antithyroglobulin-antibody/overvie\ w.html) Hi, Jean.....welcome to the group. It is always nice to have older kids joining.......I am sure you have lots of advice for us with younger ones. My son, Gareth, is 19 y/o with the dual dx. He was dx'd officially at age 6 but by 4 I knew something was different since he didn't act like the other DS kids. Ecki......Gareth did horse back riding for 2 yrs and, then, we found out about his hip problems. Unfortunately, with bad hips, horse back riding is the worse thing you can do. There is no way he can ride a horse again since he has 5 pins holding the Rt hip together. I would strongly urge anyone with who has a kid riding a horse to make sure their hips are OK.....no hip dysplasia. Take care, Everyone. Margaret **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
