Way to go but just a warning:

if you start doing more Advanced work-outs for the full 45 minutes to an hour

a few times a week, always eat in the upper end of your WW points

Don't scare your metabolism like I did!!

Barb

who knows the Advanced work-outs burn alot more calories

OK. I did it. I did AL1.

Well... not all of it. I really wish wouldn't mention " time " in his

videos. As soon as he said " You're about 25 minutes into the workout " I

ran out of steam.

But I'm really proud of myself for doing all the moves up to that point. I

even did some of them at the same speed as the tape -- the easy ones. :-)

I do know that I can do this tape, most of it anyway. There are some moves

that I'll need to balance myself on my bedpost, but that's OK.

I'll either give myself a rest tomorrow or try it again. I like this tape.

So I guess that's my brag for this week. I conquered my fear of the

Advanced tapes!

Those are two fabulous accomplishments! Congratulations.

A different perspective of saying we're 1/2 way thru: I feel

relieved...like I've made it over the top and am coasting downhill.

:-)

I feel the same way...I like it when tells us were 1/2 way

through. But I can totally understand why some people don't like it.

If it comes at the wrong time, like you really think you should be

getting ready for the cool down and he's like " Alright, only 30 more

minutes to go " ....ughhhh!!! I remember when I used to row Crew, I used

to get sooooo mad at the coxswain (the person who steers and tells you

how much time is left), if you had an inexperienced coxswain they'd be

trying to motivate you, but would totally end up frustrating you. I

was the stroke (the person everyone follows) and I was extremely

competitive and sometimes had a hard time controlling my temper (yes,

at one time I had a REALLY bad temper and was ultra competitive...thank

goodness I've gotten that under control)....I think I scared some of

those little coxswain's just by the look in my eye (they were facing

me, just a few feet away). If we were doing a really long workout,

like an hour and they'd say something idiotic like " Okay, ten minutes

down...only 50 to go " ....oooohhhh, I think if I could I would have

reached out and smacked her/him! Oh well, sorry to get off topic...but

it brought back some memories and I can totally relate to how some

people hate the mention of time. It can be seriously detrimental if it

comes at the wrong time! But, 's pretty good about doing it at

the halfway mark and that's ok with me...I feel the same way, like the

rest is downhill!

who wishes she could still row because it was the most amazing feeling

being out in the middle of a huge river early in the morning watching

the sun rise
