I just received this from a friend and thought it would be of interest to

many of you:

Carly Fleischman has severe autism and is unable to speak a word. But thanks

to years of expensive and intensive therapy, this 13-year-old has made a

remarkable breakthrough.

TONIGHT: Watch " World News with Gibson " tonight, Wed. Feb. 20, at

6:30 p.m. ET, to see Carly's response to the hundreds of emails she's received

on our website. Learn what this outpouring of support has meant to this

amazing 13-year-old and her family.

It's a follow up story. Here's a link to the original story:

This is really interesting to me since is mostly nonverbal, though he does

have several words and signs, and his nonverbal IQ is certainly functional, even

average in some respects. I've got some tools here I just haven't made the time

to use since they weren't working when he was sick, but time to get them out

again and start PECs and GoTalk etc.
