Guest guest
I had gait, ataxia and balance issues in my teens (at one point I was re-diagnosed with Frederick's Ataxia), plus major fatigue, had alot of physical therapy, plus needed extra sleep. When I was 19 the tremors came on. Now that I'm 57, I have no gait, ataxia or balance issues, nor immense fatigue (yes, I put in a very full day) I do need 'quality' sleep, not so much quantity, the tremors have been controlled by medication since I was 35. I have exercised faithfully over the years 3-4 times a week at the pool, bike riding, horse riding, hikes, walks, a bit of yoga at one time, some ski conditioning, some Pilates, etc. Year round now I'm in the pool for an indoor aquatic circuit program and weather pending I'm also on my bike. I still type/write quickly, and just resumed playing piano. LOL, but my only 'issue' is * age related * - I have a pair of eye glasses in every room so I can read the small print on labels, newspapers, recipies, music sheets, paint, sew, etc. My eyes are still changing so for now this works. Guest guest
Great to hear what makes life works for you. I do need 'quality' sleep also. I had abandoned deep water running but I think I'll re-start. Thanks for your responses. I pay close attention to them all. -wheels
