Guest guest
Hi, Everyone....Congratulations to !!! Sounds like a wonderful day. ....Gareth learned writing the alphabet fairly easily in 1st grade and learned cursive writing in 3rd grade from his OT. His cursive writing is neater than his older brother's. Actually, they say that cursive is easier for the kids because their hands don't have to leave the paper. I think his writing skills came from all the previous years of *chicken scribble* that he use to do. He'd lay on the floor for hours and go line, to line, to line......neatly filling pages of scribble that looked like some foreign language. Guess that part of his OCD was productive!!! He also uses a keyboard and computer for school work. He carries a Notepad for when people don't understand him and he can write the word out for them. They are really pushing him hard on his spelling since his speech is so poor just so that he can communicate using the Notepad. Take care, Everyone.
