Back in the day when I was often known to mix up a margarita or two in the

Vitamix, it always made a huge hit when that flash went off in a darkened

kitchen during a party, lol

The reverse function is essential when making dough-I wish they still had that

on the new machines.

Why does bread need that as it can be made in a food processor and I thn my

daughter makes it in her Vitamix to get it barely together and then takes out

and kneads it.  I sometimes have put it in my breadmaker and take it to dough

stage and firstrising and then I knead and put in a bread pan and let it rise

before baking.  Yet on a Sunday I am glad to just let the machine make it even

though it has a funny shape (square).  i don't have my breadmaker here

though.  When I go to AR again, it comes back.  I love putting something in

the oven and setting it to be ready when I get home and I put in bread and had

it ready at same time. Oh, the smell of the kitchen when I came home.  When I

needed a new stove here, I made sure it had an oven to set.  I don't like it as

well as my ol Amana as I could set time I wanted it to go off and set the hours

to cook and that was it. Now we have to figure out what time we want it done,

subtract the hours and then

put in the beginning time and tell it how long we wan to have it cook.  It

works but is not as uer friendly as the Amana was. The cook top doesn't stay as

clean as the Amana either.  I think it is the deep edge right bfore the lip on

this one.  I can set the sizes of the cook service better and it is supposed to

be something like a convection and a regular oven together but I haven't used it

like that at all.  It was too confusing to me.

 

I am building a cabinet just for all my countertop appliances that won't fit on

my countertop.  I shuld read the directions and put it together soon. I can

then clan out some cabinets and get other things in there.  I need to take

stuff out of the top of the cabinets as I don't use much of that and I need to

get rid of them and get more things into the cabinets.
