Angelika,

When you sprout black-eyed peas, you don't eat them raw. You must cook them.

Soup or a bean casserole, etc.

I sprouted them and they look like bean plants. They do not taste good. Very

bitter and tough.

Is it the same with bean sprouts?  I had sprouted beans and ate one raw and it

was very bitter.

Since it was a bean mixture I am not sure which kind of bean it was.   So

all pea and bean sprouts need to be cooked a bit like in a stir fry?  I thought

pea sprouts could be put on top of a soup.  I figured it had to be done within

a certain number of days.
