Those are so PRETTY! This and the pea shoots might convince me to give

microgreens a try. But I still have to get over the " waste " of buying and then

throwing out the growing medium.

Use a couple of spoonfuls of organic soil to avoid waste. You can see my video

Oh, maybe if you used soil, you could re-grow in that. I have no experience with

soil.

Keep in mind with chia seeds, if you eat them raw as a seed, they MUST be soaked

first, as they form a gel and can swell and stick in your throat and stomach.

As a green, they need no further attention, but do be sure to soak the raw

seeds. Chia seeds make an amazing gel-great for pudding (just add cocoa and

agave or honey) Chia gel also makes a wonderful hair gel!

I don't have any cats and I didn't know one could sprout catnip. I must tell my

friend who has 3 cats.
