Guest guest
This is a great study. One of the things I have been reading about is metabolic efficiency - or eating in a way that matches how or what form of energy store your body burns. This is done in conjunction with exercise, and is a process of retraining the body to burn fat stores rather than glycogen (carbohydrate) stores. There are far higher stores of fat in our bodies than glycogen. Both this study and the concept of metabolic efficiency point to the same thing - what we eat matters, and also exercise improves our ability to burn and use food. All good common sense stuff. Thanks Gretchen for circulating this type of research. I appreciate it! Donna from London
