Guest guest
I have been thinking about how many people there must be with CMT, those who don't know it, those who are mis-diagnosed, those who believe they have Muscular Dystropy, etc. I went back to the 2008 USA Population Estimates - there were 304,000,000. So, using the " 1 out of every 2500 people has CMT " factor, I came up with 12,160,000 people in the USA that would be estimated to have CMT. Staggering numbers. I wish we could pay a research team to give us an updated numerical issuance for CMT. That " 1 out of every 2500 people " is about 36 years old research.
