Guest guest
After suffering for at least 2 years with undiagnosed issues with her gut, reflux, bloating, gas, diarrhea (not a commercial), my daughter finally went to a GI doc. He tested her thru endoscopy, barium swallow, gall bladder MRI, etc. Final dx: esophageal reflux with some erosion (medication is fixing that) and a dystonic gallbladder without stones. The GB left on Thurs a week ago thru laparoscopy (4 tiny incisions near her belly button). By Friday night she ate a regular dinner, drove her car on Saturday, and is back to work part time (she owns her own pediatric OT business). SHe is doing the book work, advertising and will be making some speeches for the next 6 weeks while she recovers enought to actually get down and dirty with her kids. Can't lift her 28 lb daughter for at least 2 weeks. But she already says the pain from the surgery is less then the gut pain she had before it. She only took one real pain pill and maybe three or four Advil.
