Guest guest
My 3yr old daughter has CMT 1A, she has a alot of problems with her hands (still not able to grasp with fingers) and her ankles and feet (she uses a type of AFO that is called DAFOs) they seem to help her a lot. The thing is every doc. tells use her issues have nothing to do with her CMT 1A, I have different feelings on that, and was wondering what is invovled with an EMG, is it a painful test? I do not want to put her through anything that is going to cause her any pain. She has been through so many tests already with no results as to why she has these issuse. She is also developmentally delayed, and it is mostly because she can't get her fingers or her feet to work the why they should. All I would like is to see her walk and to be able to play with her older sister (who is very advanced for her age 4 yrs old) Can someone please give me more info. Thank You Dena
