Guest guest
had his tonsils out shortly before he turned 3, because of recurring Strep throat. He had it, as did my husband about 8 or 9 times when he was 2. The ENT did not recommend removing the adenoids & I'm trying to remember why. already has trouble swallowing & eats mostly soft foods. I think the ENT thought this could get worse if we removed the adenoids. Of course they did it as an outpatient. It was only later that I read that kids w/DS have a higher risk of bleeding after that surgery & it s/b inpatient. Luckily he did not start bleeding. I like the idea of having a directory with a brief amt of info on the parents & child. I have trouble keeping everyone straight too. However, some of you may not like it! , KCMO --------------------------------- You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost. Guest guest
Interesting , never heard this. Have noticed the ongoing strep with my son too. My son has had his tonsils and adenoids removed when he was a youngster. I guess he was one who was fortunate to. Thanks, Irma,19,DS/ASD > > had his tonsils out shortly before he turned 3, because of recurring Strep throat. He had it, as did my husband about 8 or 9 times when he was 2.
